Swift Expedition Kevlar Lite

Swift Expedition Kevlar Lite canoes are built with a Vinylester or Epoxy Resin system for durability and longevity, and a thin exterior surface coat of UV Shield gel coat for a beautiful finish. The Swift infusion process produces the highest inter-laminate shear strength of any composite hull. The hull layers are comprised of layers of Kevlar fabric as well as a Basalt cloth derived from volcanic rock, and high modulus polypropylene Innegra fiber. These layers and pieces sandwich a durable foam core and rib system, creating a long-lasting laminate capable of greater elongation and elasticity without failure.

The Expedition Kevlar Lite laminate is available with multiple vibrant exterior colour cloth finishes as well as several specialty cloth finishes.

Swift Kevlar Fusion

This lightweight laminate is our most popular canoe laminate with our highest strength to weight ratio.

Swift Kevlar Fusion canoes are built with a Vinylester or Epoxy Resin system for durability and longevity, and a thin exterior surface coat of UV Shield for a beautiful finish. The Swift Resin Infusion process produces the highest possible strength to weight ratio and inter-laminate shear strength. The hull is comprised of an exterior layer of Polyester, as well as multiple pieces and layers of Aramid and Kevlar cloth layers sandwiching a durable foam core and rib system.

The Kevlar Fusion laminate is available with multiple vibrant exterior colour cloth finishes as well as several specialty cloth finishes.

Swift Carbon Fusion

Remarkably light boats for those who want the lightest canoe available with long lasting durability.

Swift Carbon Fusion canoes are built with a Vinylester or Epoxy Resin system for durability and longevity, and a thin exterior surface coat of UV Shield for a beautiful finish. Layers and select partials of Carbon-Innegra cloth sandwich a durable foam core and rib system. The laminate is fused together with our high impact resin injected with high pressure infusion, producing optimal dispersion and laminate consistency.



The Carbon Fusion laminate is available in our popular Granite and Black Carbon finishes. A variety of stunning TeXtreme Carbon finishes are also available as an upgrade.
