The Basics of Kayaking – 2½ hours (free with Boat Buyer's Benefits)

Are you wondering: “Would I like kayaking? What type of kayak would be best for me? Is it comfortable to sit? What do I need to know about paddles? How would I carry a kayak? How would I get in and out? What if I capsize? What are the most efficient strokes to propel and steer?”.

If this is the case, then, we invite you to sign up for our Basics of Kayaking – the solution to a solid foundation in kayaking.

Please note, this is not a “mini-lesson” that’s going to “kinda get you started”. No siree Bob, it’s a full-on 2.5-hour adult class designed to answer all your questions and to teach you the 5 most efficient strokes for optimum efficiency and control.

Take, for example, paddling forward. We’ll teach you BayCreek’s trademarked “3-Forces Forward Stroke”. A forward stroke that the weekend paddler can perfect and the aspiring technical paddler can build upon.  Other strokes you will learn include sweeps, and reverses, which when done properly add precise control.
