The inception of the Pilgrim Expedition stemmed from the remarkable achievements of the Pilgrim model, as paddlers sought a design tailored for extended multi-day excursions with additional gear. Building upon the Pilgrim's triumph, the Pilgrim Expedition has been elongated to enhance volume and cruising speed. The kayak's sleek design ensures swiftness in the water while providing a stable and comfortable platform. This design empowers smaller paddlers to navigate windy conditions effectively, even when carrying substantial gear loads.

During the Kayak to Climb Tasmania expedition, Fiona Corfe utilized a three-piece version of this kayak. This three-month unsupported journey entailed transporting camera and climbing equipment alongside standard expedition gear, showcasing the Pilgrim Expedition's versatility and reliability in demanding real-world conditions.
